The stem cells that are used in Veterinary medicine today come from fat cells, and here at Safari Veterinary Care Centers, we prepare and store our cells in-house so that they are healthy and readily available. We do not ship to outside labs or use kits from stem cell companies; we have our own in-house laboratory and extensive stem cell equipment. This ensures the correct number of live cells are used and ensures the proper placement of the stem cells into the pet; two items critical to the success of stem cell therapy.
We are also equipped with specialized radiology and ultrasound equipment for injecting stem cells into a ligament, joint, spinal disc, or other area of need.
